This application is designed to interface with the Netool network analyzer available at www.netool.io. Please note that this application is exclusively compatible with the Netool network analyzer device.

When used with a Netool.io handheld network analyzer, this tool enables users to identify various ethernet protocols and conduct detailed analyses. The Netool device can accurately detect the following elements:

• Tagged VLAN IDs
• Untagged VLAN IDs (utilizing CDP or LLDP)
• Spanning Tree (STP) information
• DHCP configurations
• Switch Port details (using CDP or LLDP)
• Switch Address information (using CDP or LLDP)
• Switch Hostname data (using CDP or LLDP)
• LLDP-MED POE Power availability
• Ping test functionality for internet, gateway, and custom addresses
• Dark mode display option

In addition to its detection capabilities, the Netool device supports seamless sharing functionality. Users can effortlessly share data via text, email, Slack, and other platforms. Furthermore, test results can be uploaded to the Netool remote cloud for sharing among other Netool users.

An audible notification system alerts users when the app is running in the background and a port is detected by the Netool NE1.
